Workshop Preparation

PREPARATION: Please refrain from any recreational drugs or plants for one week prior to ceremony. This includes micro dosing. If you are returning to our home, and you are taking new medications, please let us know.

DIET:  We suggest that you do not eat red meat the day prior to the ceremony. No alcohol and no heavy meals the day before. You can eat eggs, vegetables, rice, beans, chicken, turkey, fish, salads, fruit, soup, crackers, yogurt.

The day of the workshop, come fasting. Please do not eat or drink anything but water or juice or non-caffeinated beverages. No coffee unless you get a headache from not having it. If this is the case, you can have one small cup of coffee but no later than 7 AM. Early risers (6:00 AM) who need a little to eat, can have a little fruit, but please nothing after 6:30 AM.

HYDRATE BEFORE ARRIVING: Drink at least 1– 8 oz glass of water, preferably with a packet of electrolytes such as Emergen C, Ultimate, Nunn or Liquid IV. Electrolytes are critical to maintain levels of sodium in the body and prevent dehydration.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will have filtered water to refill them. We offer Gatorade and coconut water during the day. We will provide mattresses, sheets, blankets, pillows, and eye masks.

HOW TO DRESS: Dress comfortably! We will be outside under a covered gazebo. There will be mattresses outside and there will be quiet rooms inside the house if you prefer to work in air conditioning.

FOOD AND INTEGRATION:

By 4:00 PM we will have soup, fruit, hummus, chips, quiche, and other foods to nourish the body. Integration will follow at 5:30 PM. This is a time when each person will have the opportunity to share a bit about their experience and we will talk about how we bring the insights you received into your everyday life.

PRE-JOURNEY INTAKE: If you are participating for the first time, we will have a 30 – 45-minute conversation one to two weeks prior to the experience. This conversation will be about your life, your childhood, your relationships with your children, partners, and parents. This will allow you a deeper understanding of this work and prepare you for an intention.

ARRIVAL TIME: All ceremonies begin at 9:00 AM and end approximately 7:30 PM. Please arrive between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM so we can begin promptly.

INTENTIONS: Take time to think about what you are seeking in your experience. What do you want to change in the way that you feel about yourself? What is blocking you from being the best version of yourself?

Consider who it is you want to be. How do you deserve to be treated? What is your truth? What does integrity mean to you?

OTHER NOTES:

It is not unusual in the days prior that you feel triggered, or old emotions to arise. This is a sign that your experience has begun.

If you feel you are getting a cold, or have a stomachache or other physical ailment, in many cases this is your higher self, preparing you for your experience and is very normal prior to attending.

To allow safety for everyone participating, we would ask that you take all communicable illnesses seriously. Please have yourself tested for COVID if you are experiencing fever or other flu symptoms.
